MACSPEECH, INC. RELEASES MACSPEECH DICTATE 1.2.1

– Maintenance Update Builds on First Major Update with Move Command, Spelling Mode and Phrase Training Capabilities –

SALEM, N.H., November 24, 2008 - MacSpeech, Inc. today announced the release and immediate availability of MacSpeech Dictate 1.2.1, an update to the premier speech recognition solution for the Macintosh.

The MacSpeech Dictate 1.2.1 update is a maintenance release that fixes reported issues and adds several refinements to this popular solution for the Macintosh that provides exceptional speech recognition accuracy and works with existing applications. MacSpeech Dictate 1.2.1 builds on the first major update to MacSpeech Dictate, which introduced a "move" command for easier verbal editing of a document, a Spelling Mode for letter-by-letter dictation of unusual words, and the Phrase Training capabilities that help the user increase accuracy on the fly.

MacSpeech Dictate requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or Mac OS X 10.5.2 or higher. The MacSpeech Dictate 1.2.1 update is available free of charge to registered customers using the "Check for Updates" feature. Detailed information on all of the changes and enhancements can be found at:

MacSpeech Dictate requires Intel-based Macintosh hardware and requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or Mac OS X 10.5.2 and higher.
