Global Vision of Speech

• At MacSpeech we envision speech as all encompassing on the Macintosh. Our founder, CTO and Chief Architect of our products, Andrew Taylor leads us in our pursuit of our goals and the finessing of our vision.
  
  
• Andy is a veteran computer speech programmer. Over the course of his career he has designed and implemented computer software and hardware for clients in communications, imaging, and speech synthesis and recognition.
  
  
• Andy started MacSpeech in late 1996 after realizing the Macintosh platform as losing ground in the area of Speech Recognition. He saw an opportunity to fill a market niche with his experience in the field. His experience in designing and building the industry’s first dictation system Power Secretary.

• The MacSpeech engineering team has some of the most experienced and best Speech Recognition programmers in the country. Many worked with Andy on Power Secretary and all share his vision of an easy-to-use Speech Recognition packed with convenient features for the Macintosh.
