"How To Enable Access For Assistive Devices"
Details:
Both iListen and MacSpeech Dictate require "Enable Access for Assistive Devices" be turned on in your System Preferences in order to work properly. If you get a message on your screen asking about enabling access for assistive devices do the following:
- Click OK.
- Open System Preferences from either the Dock or the Apple menu.
- Click on the Universal Access icon.
- Look at the bottom of the window that appears. Make sure Enable access for assistive devices is checked.
- Enter your User ID and password, then press Return.
- Quit System Preferences.
