It is incredibly frustrating to not be able to dictate directly into our hospital's electronic medical record without MacSpeech Dictate completely freaking out if any corrections are needed. It also inserts random characters such as an "A" or "x" at the end of sentences. I know all of the documentation talks about MacSpeech Dictate needing to know the location of the cursor in the document - buy why? This design (flaw) totally limits the usefulness of this product and my ability to be efficient with it. I very strongly suggest - maybe for 2.0 - that you figure out how to get Dictate to interact with text in all windows - like Dragon Naturally Speaking. Being tied to the Dictate note pad is lame.
