Request for AppleScript sound output choice scripts

    Hi;

    Because I am hearing impaired, I like to listen to output (usually music) from my iMac through headphones. But if my sound output is set to "Headphones" I can't hear the MacSpeech Dictate "Play the Selection" command. I would like to have convenient access to both possibilities. I'm wondering if switching back and forth from one output source to the other could be done with AppleScript commands.

    If so (since I know essentially nothing about scripting) I wonder if anybody on the list might be able to come up with a script that would allow me to do the switching from the Scripts Folder. (Someone was generous enough to leave AppleScripts for hiding and showing the MacSpeech windows. I am hoping for a similar act of generosity for the Sound Output situation.)

    Many thanks for any help you can offer!
