Global Vision of Speech

• At MacSpeech we envision speech as all encompassing on the Macintosh. MacSpeech's founder and President, Andrew Taylor drives the company's vision and goals of making speech recognition ubiquitous on the Macintosh platform.
  
  
• Andy is a veteran computer speech programmer. Over the course of his career he has designed and implemented computer software and hardware for clients in communications, imaging, and speech synthesis and recognition.
  
  
• Andy started MacSpeech in late 1996 after realizing the Macintosh platform as losing ground in the area of Speech Recognition. He saw an opportunity to fill a market niche with his experience in the field. His experience in designing and building the industry’s first dictation system Power Secretary.
